The mission at EERL is to develop transformative solutions to energy and environmental problems by integrating electric power, transportation, buildings and environment systems and through novel research and community engagement. Currently, the major research initiatives at EERL are electrification of the heating sector, statewide public Internet of Things (IoT) network, renewable energy integration, green infrastructure designs and mitigation of virus transmission in built environments.
